Penoyre & Prasad
Architects Penoyre & Prasad are a practice of over 50 people who have designed over 200 projects, ranging in cost up to £30m, from pioneering health buildings to flexible school environments, housing and urban masterplans
In addition to their work in these sectors, they have experience of mixed projects which combine residential, educational and community uses.
The breadth of their work means that there is cross fertilisation of ideas between projects in different sectors. Whatever the project, they bring to bear high ambition and fresh ideas focused on the people who use, operate and experience these buildings and neighbourhoods.
Within the school sector, they are particularly known for:
- their work in 2003 as one of eleven leading architectural firms commissioned to develop Exemplar Designs for BSF.
- the £18million Ashburton Learning Village in Croydon, completed in 2006, a stimulating environment for both young people and adults.
- the Minster School in Nottinghamshire, housing 1600 pupils, bringing together a school previously split over two sites.
Prenoyre & Prasad act as the architectural partner of Space for Personalised Learning, and in addition are leading several of the pilot schemes.
